Gabbar's Den, "Gabbar" is a character of an villain in an epic Bollywood movie; the entire movie was dramatized about his cruel character and torturing the villagers of Ramaghad in the movie "Sholay". Hence, this place is named after him.

Ramanagaram is just sixty kilometer away from the Bangalore on the way to Mysore. It is famous for granite hillocks, which is very popular for Rock climbing; and its internationally graded by climbers. However, the town is famous for silk.

About Campsite:
Three acres land situated on the periphery of the forest area and rocks; with basic facilities like rest rooms, kitchen, Dormitories. The campsite also has few Mango, Jack fruit trees.

Anthargange



ANTHARGANGE


A stream taking its rise on the Kolar hill. The stream which originates among the rock is led by a drain into a small tank, about 3 feet deep, from which another drain leads is through the mouth of a bull to a larger tank about 50' *35' below. From there, the water flows down towards Kilukote. Above the bull's head is a brindavana and on its top of Vimana of brick and mortar, belonging to the palegar days. In the center of the lower tank stands a small mantapa with an image of Ganapathi in it. Before the water issues out of the bulls mouth. It is made to wash the feet of a standing image of Vishnu in the form of Venkatesha. At the foot of the Kolar hill, there are the ruins of an old town. In it's very old granite. Temple of Nilakanteshwara.


Naga-Kunte is a large pond, about 200 by 100, with a partly submerged mantapa in the middle and the temples of Venkataramana and Najundeshwara to its north. The range extends along the northeast of the town of Kolar, The highest point being 4,026 feet above the sea level. The hill presents a barren and rocky appearance on all sides. However, on the top is an extensive plateau occupied by villages And irrigated fields. A stream on the east side, named "ANTARA" "GANGE" is esteemed sacred. With a small pond, having mantapa in the center, Supplied with water falling through the mouth of a stone bull, this place is also a popular picnic spot.

Munnar is a town located in the Idduki district of Kerala state, situated in the south Western Ghats of India, name Munnar is believed to be derived from the Malayalam/Tamil words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. Essentially a pass ; the area around Munnar is surrounded by vast jungles and remains wet and cold during most of the year. Located 160kms away from Bangalore,at Mandya district. The Lake is surrounded by a Dam on one side, a sand beach on other side and other two sides are surrounded by fields. It is a reservoir of River Hemavathy. It also lies at the periphery of Melukote wildlife sanctuary.

SAVANDURGA








SAVANDURGA - 70kms away, lies in Magadi taluk. It is famous for its single monolithic granite peak known as "Karigudda and Billigudda", which used to be a "Kempegowda's hide out". It is a tiny village hamlet, which has a temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy. Even here is a small park,known as "Kemepegowda Udyanavana".
